We celebrated Imogen’s first birthday last Sunday, while also digesting it’s time to be transferred to a larger hospital so she can receive a higher level of care. Imogen and Hannah flew to Seattle Children’s Hospital Tuesday, while Travis drove to meet them there.

As of now, we don’t have answers to why Imogen is so sick, and we don’t know how to fix it. We hope and pray the multiple pediatric specialists in Seattle can help us find answers and guide Imogen on a path of healing. Her diagnosis is called failure-to-thrive.

We know through extensive testing she has slow motility, enlarged liver, enlarged kidney and fluid around her heart. Her organs function properly and they are working really hard to do so. We have seen a cardiologist, GI motility specialist and the liver specialist here at Seattle children’s hospital, and plan to see the geneticist and kidney specialist. These teams are working to understand Imogen better while they derive a plan of action.

Thank you for your continued prayers, thoughts and support. It means the world to us.
